Spotlight on Terri Dellapietro: Going Above & Beyond Her Call Of Duty

teriRecovering from a severe infection and in dire need of post acute rehab, Mr. R, a gentleman in his mid-seventies, was admitted to Alameda Center following his hospital discharge. His wife was used to the valet parking service she was treated to at the hospital every time she visited her husband there, and assumed she would receive the same service at Alameda Center.

Kindly informing Mrs. R that valet parking was not available, Terri Dellapietro, Alameda Center’s Admissions Clerk, could see the signs of stress in Mrs. R, sensing what a big difference valet parking would make to her as her husband’s primary caregiver, and how much it would mean to her.

Going above and beyond the call of duty, Terri gracefully parked Mrs. R’s car and helped her into the facility every morning throughout her husband’s two-month stay at Alameda.

Upon completing his rehab, Mr. R returned home to his daily routine, fully satisfied with the therapy he received. And Mrs. R, totally impressed with Alameda Center’s all-around patient care that went above and beyond, and surpassed all expectations!
