Honoring Perth Amboy’s Emergency Personnel With A Special BBQ Lunch

On September 18, Alameda Center’s campus was a hub of activity. Local Emergency Personnel such as police officers, firefighters, emergency medical staff, military personnel, family and friends turned out in droves at Alameda Center’s annual appreciation event for our local heroes.

“We do this barbecue annually to express our gratitude to our community’s First Responders. These men and women are on the front lines every day and this is the least we can do in the way of thanking them,” said Sheila Coleman, Administrator at Alameda. “Perth Amboy is a great community, comprised of great people that are quietly helping others.”

Amidst balloons, music, great food and some great prizes . . . these heroes were feted and honored in a truly festive celebration. What better way to say thank you?!
